On The Road Again

Me and my wife were driving in the US and I spotted this sign they have over there. So if you really need it, it's just 1400 more feet before you can have a pull.

22nd Century Internet Warning

Will we be seeing this one day? Just one click and you could be entering artificial life. How convenient and terribly scary at the same time.

East Meets West

I don't too often draw political-themed cartoons. But, I wanted to throw in my two cents' worth on this one - it's still such a relevant topic. Actually, if you round up I just gave you my five cents worth. Please don't round down.

Cloaked Cartoon

Sorry, but this a highly sensitive cartoon that had to be cloaked. Revealing it would've been too much of a shock to you all. I hope you understand. Please enjoy - it won't take you very long at all.

Ant Life

I love ants - always have since a kid. Grown up, I still sit and wonder what life might be like for an ant, or how ants might feel or think about things. These little fellas are so important to our human life - without them (and other insects) we'd be up shit creek environmentally. So, this and all future "Ant Life" cartoons I hereby dedicate to the wondrous miniature life of ants!

Survey

So is this survey about you or me, then? I'm not really sure. And, anyway, I don't like surveys - think I'll go for a coffee.

Toiletries

I used to keep a separate tube of toothpaste for each tooth. Then I discovered teethpaste. Since then I've been saving a lot of money I only need one tube now. And I also save a lot of time 'cause now I just brush all my teeth at once, instead of tooth by tooth with the old product. It's the little things that make a difference to our life, isn't it?!

On The Road Again

If you're thinking like this on the road, you're probably hungry, bored or both. Then again, you could just be a huge dip and crackers fan. Nothing wrong with that.

Department Store

Don't you love how the wording of everyday signs can be so ambiguous? And I know my mind loves leading me astray - like on this one. Sometimes I think the common sense in everyday life slips right by me, because I often first see the flip side to things - instead of what "normal" message the language is trying to convey to us. Well, I is what I is.

Sarah Palin

So I was browsing, as I do, through the New York Times. There was a story on how American morning TV shows were recently competing for hosts (http://nyti.ms/JgoF7y).  Turns out NBC was trying to lure Sarah Palin to be a guest co-host on its "Today" program for a short time.

Sarah Palin? Co-hosting? National television? Is that a good idea? I guess worse could happen. I mean she could've ended up in US federal politics, couldn't she. That said, let's all quietly reflect now, marvel at what might have been - and give a shit load of thanks...

Easter Buns

Cmantics says Happy Easter! Tomorrow's an Easter affair with family. You know how it is. There'll be lots of food, kids running 'round high on chocolate, people mingling over conversation - I might not have had time to post on Sunday. So here's the weekly cartoon a day early for you. It's my gift to you.

We've got hot cross buns in Australia, just like the US. But we also call them Easter buns. Same thing. Thought you might like some fresh buns to sink your teeth into. Enjoy.

Classifieds

It's still the weekend. Nope, not thinking about the coming week at work one bit... ("Sweetie, are my shirts for the week ironed yet?") ...Just a lazy Sunday, browsing through the newspaper. A coffee would be good.

Bird Types

I love the bird life here in (Dee Why) where I live - their calls and songs. Here are some bird types of my own. BTW, good to see you guys in the US have mynahs, too.
